On 11th March 2011, 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck North East Japan, causing enormous tsunamis, which devastated east coast in Japan. The number of people dead and missing is about 20000.

Font Aid is a project organized by The Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA) to make social contributions by fonts and designes. Now Font Aid V comes into operation by the name Font Aid V: Made For Japan. A lot of designers made a glyph that is their own personal interpretation of Japan and compiled into a font.

I am participating in this project offering antiqued SAMURAI letter in Kanji. You can buy it through some vendors listed at Font Aid page at SOTA site. The profit by the font is to directly deliver funds to organizations in Japan, such as AMDA International (Association of Medical Doctors of Asia).

And finally, I thank you for your help and encouragement.
